Canephron® is a herbal medicine that offers a supportive treatment for mild symptoms of cystitis. Cystitis refers to an inflammation of the bladder, which can lead to swelling and irritation. In most of the cases, cystitis is caused by Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) due to bacteria that enter the bladder and start to multiply. Cystitis can also be caused due to an imbalance in the body’s naturally occurring bacteria. Women are particularly affected by this infection as their urethra is much shorter (approx. 2.5 cm - 4 cm) than the male (approx. 20 cm). 
One should take immediate action if the following symptoms occur: 
Persistent urge to urinate 
Pain and burning sensation when urinating 
Minimal amounts of urine during urination 
Abdominal cramps 
A useful measure for cystitis is to drink plenty of water (2-3 liters per day) so that the bacteria are flushed out of the bladder. At the same time, the healing process can be supported by an effective herbal medicine such as Canephron®. Canephron® is a traditional herbal medicine for the supportive treatment of mild symptoms (such as frequent urination, burning during urination and increased urge to urinate). Using Canephron® can help to treat the symptoms of cystitis to prevent serious inflammation of the bladder. Canephron® contains a unique herbal formula consisting of the extract of three plants, namely rosemary leaves, lovage root and centaury.

Product description
Canephron N is a traditional herbal medicinal product whose indications are based solely on long-term use. The oral fluid can be used as an adjuvant and supplement in the treatment of mild inflammatory diseases of the urinary tract*.

Composition
100 ml of liquid contains:
active substance: extract (1:56) from 1.8 g of a mixture of Centaurium erythraea Rafn s.l., herba (herb thousand); Levisticum officinale Koch., radix (lovage root); Rosmarinus officinalis L., folium (rosemary leaf) in the ratio (1:1:1),
first extractant: ethanol 59% (V/V). Contains up to 19.5% (V/V) alcohol.
Action
Anti-inflammatory in mild inflammatory diseases of the urinary tract, preventive and supportive treatment of urinary tract stones and tendency to accumulate kidney sand. 
Dosage
Adults and children over 12 years of age: orally, 3 times a day (morning, noon and evening) 74 drops, which corresponds to 5 ml in a single dose.
During use, it is recommended to drink an increased amount of fluids.
Canephron N can be taken with other liquids (e.g. a glass of water). Please shake before use. When dosing the bottle should be held vertically.
