Mastodynia is a medical condition in which a woman experiences swelling in the breast and feeling of tension before a period. This is quite common among women and can occur almost every month. The breasts increase in size and become more sensitive to touch because of Mastodynia. In most cases, Mastodynia is completely harmless; however, it affects the quality of life and can be seriously frustrating at times. Mastodynia occurs due to hormonal imbalance and this is where Mastodynon, developed and produced by Bionorica plays an important role.  
Mastodynon® has a regulating effect on the hormonal imbalance, thanks to its unique combination of active ingredients from chaste tree (Vitex agnus-castus), cyclamen, tiger lily, ignatius bean, blue cohosh and blue flag. Mastodynon fights the causes of mastodynia, eases the feeling of tension and relieves other symptoms such as swelling in breasts and irregular cycles. 
 
Dosage
Unless your doctor tells you otherwise, take 30 drops of Mastodynon N diluted with a small amount of water in the morning and evening. Treatment should last at least 3 months - also during menstruation. Improvement usually occurs after 6 weeks. If after the end of treatment with Mastodynon N the disorders return, the treatment should be continued after consulting a doctor.
Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to the ingredients of the preparation. The preparation should not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Mastodynon N should not be used in the case of malignant tumours of the breast: Caution: consult a doctor before starting treatment.
Side effects
Transient gastrointestinal disturbances, temporary slight weight gain, acne, headaches.
Ingredients
100 g of the preparation contains: Agnus castus D1 (20 g), Caulophyllum thalictroides D4 (10 g), Cyclamen D4 (10 g), Ignatia D6 (10 g), Iris D2 (20 g), Lilium tigrinum D3 (10 g). From D4, 15% ethanol is used for further dilution. The preparation contains 53% alcohol by volume.
