The venotonic product Daflon 1000 mg is a venotonic supplement that increases vein tone and also has a vasculoprotective effect, meaning it increases the resistance of small blood vessels.
This product is recommended for the treatment of functional symptoms associated with hemorrhoidal flare-ups.
Composition of Daflon 1000 – Blood circulation
The active ingredient is flavonoid fraction 1000 mg. This flavonoid fraction is derived from hesperidin; a substance obtained from immature oranges. Daflon uses a purified micronized flavonoid fraction; micronization allows for better absorption¹.

The other ingredients are: sodium carboxymethyl starch, microcrystalline cellulose, gelatine, magnesium stearate, and talc.
The film coating consists of: titanium dioxide (E171), glycerol, sodium lauryl sulphate, macrogol 6000, Hypromellose, yellow iron oxide (E172), red iron oxide (E172), and magnesium stearate.
USE: The recommended dose is 3 tablets per day for 4 days, followed by 2 tablets per day for the next 3 days, to be taken with meals.
If hemorrhoidal symptoms do not improve within 15 days, it is essential to consult your doctor.
Precautions:
Daflon 1000 mg must not be taken in case of allergy to the purified micronized flavonoid fraction or to any of the other ingredients contained in this product.

Daflon 1000 mg must not be used in case of allergy to the purified micronized flavonoid fraction or to any of the other ingredients contained in this product.
Side effects: Daflon 1000 may cause allergic side effects (skin reactions, facial swelling, or angioedema) as well as digestive side effects (colitis, abdominal pain, diarrhoea, dyspepsia, nausea, vomiting).
