Emoflon Rectal Ointment 25g
Indication:
For the treatment of hemorrhoidal symptoms and related complications (e.g., eczema, anal fissure) in adults.
Action:
Emoflon soothes and protects inflamed skin, promotes skin regeneration, and reduces dryness. It aids in healing lesions and helps prevent cracks caused by defecation.
Directions:
Wash hands before use.
Apply a small amount (pea-sized) around the anus or inside the rectum with the applicator, preferably after defecation or a sitz bath.
Ensure the applicator is securely attached to the tube.
Clean the applicator with soap and warm water after use.
Use 1-2 times daily.
Precautions:
Do not apply near the eyes or on mucous membranes.
Avoid use with bleeding haemorrhoids or if allergic to lanolin.
Use sanitary protection to prevent staining of clothing.
Treatment duration: up to 4 weeks, but consult a doctor if symptoms persist after 1-2 weeks.
Consult a doctor before using with other rectal medications or during pregnancy/breastfeeding.
Side Effects:
Potential for local irritation (burning, itching, redness). Discontinue use and consult a doctor if these occur.
Warnings:
Keep out of reach of children.
Avoid contact with eyes.
Do not swallow or use in the vagina.
Storage:
Store at temperatures below 25°C, away from direct sunlight. Do not use after the expiration end date. Dispose of properly, consult a pharmacist for disposal guidance.
 
Composition: Sucralfate, cocoa butter, lanolin (vegetable origin), white petroleum jelly, white beeswax, purified water, caprylyl glycol, calendula extract, chamomile extract, witch hazel leaf extract.
