Basilisk Complex No. 96 is a homeopathic medicine. It is traditionally used in gastrointestinal disorders such as flatulence, diarrhea, spasmodic colic.

The other ingredients are ethanol, and purified water.
The excipient with known effect of its formula is ethanol.
 
Basilicum complex n°96 is reserved for adults and children over 2 years old .
For adults, the recommended dosage is 20 drops twice a day, which can be increased to 4 times a day in acute cases.
The duration of treatment should not exceed 15 days.
Children from 2 to 12 years old, it is 5 drops per day, with a minimum interval of 4 hours between 2 doses.
The duration of treatment should not exceed 5 days.

The drops should be taken in a little water, preferably between meals. You should keep under the tongue before swallowing.
It is necessary to reduce the intakes as soon as the symptoms improve and when the symptoms disappear.

This product should not be used by children under 2 years of age, or in case of allergy to the active substances or to any of its components.

It contains a maximum of 43 vol% ethanol (alcohol) or up to 170 mg per 20 drop dose, which is equivalent to 4.2 ml of beer or 1.7 ml of wine per dose.
In children, a dose of 5 drops contains up to 42 mg of ethanol, corresponding to 1.1 ml of beer and 0.4 ml of wine.
Its use is therefore dangerous in alcoholics, and must be taken into account in pregnant or breastfeeding women, and children and high-risk groups such as epileptics or subjects with hepatic impairment.

Basilicum complex n°96 should not be used without medical advice in the event of otitis, sinusitis or dermatosis, due to the presence of the Sulfur strain in its formula.
It also contains Lycopodium strain; it is not recommended to be used in case of cholelithiasis without prior medical advice.
