Digestodoron is a homeopathic medicine from Weleda Laboratories, in the form of a drinkable solution. It is traditionally used in functional digestive disorders , such as burns, meteorism, constipation, spasms.
Its active substances are (per 100 g of oral solution):
Aspidium filix-mas, folium 1 DH 35.5g Polypodium vulgare, foilium 1 DH 8.5g Scolopendrium officinale, folium DH 10.0g Salix alba, folium 1 DH 11.5g Salix viminalis, folium 1 DH 23.0g Salix vitellina, folium 1 DH 11.5g
The strains are digests made according to methods of the German Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia.
The other ingredients are ethanol and purified water.
The excipient with known effect of the formula is alcohol at 36% V/V.
Usage:
Children 12+, Adults: 8 to 15 drops to be diluted in water, 3 times a day, a quarter of an hour before meals. Reduce or stop when symptoms improved.
Digestodoron is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding, in particular due to the presence of alcohol in its formula. Always ask your doctor for advice before taking any medicine, especially if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
